Turkey Mountain Golf Course and the Community of Horseshoe Bend generously donated the proceeds raised at the LPGA Legends of Golf Tournament held on September 18 and 19 to the Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation.
  The weather was beautiful and the event well attended. The BRMC physical therapy department provided stretching and muscle massages for those attending, auxiliary volunteers filled in wherever needed and Hospital Foundation Director of Development, Cindy Costa expressed thanks on behalf of a grateful hospital.
  “We cannot thank the city of Horseshoe Bend, Chuck McNeight, PGA Golf Pro. of Turkey Mountain Golf Course, devoted volunteers and all of the wonderful ladies of the LPGA Legends for making this event such a huge success. We are humbled by their thoughtfulness, generosity, and kindness,” Costa said.

Lady Legends who have visited Horseshoe Bend and the Golf Course on Turkey Mountain during the past three years of the Horseshoe Bend Invitational event include: Hall of Famers: Kathi Wittworth, Jan Stevenson, Sandra Haney, Pat Bradley and Elaine Crosby along with - Cindy Miller, Kitty Robine, Cindy Figg-Courier, Jeanette Kohlhaus, Cindy Rarick, Jane Blalock, Laurie Rinker, Lori West, Teri Jo Myers, Anna Marie Palli, Carolyne Hill, Jennie Lidbeck, Luarie Attsedes, and 2011 Solheim Captain Rosie Jones who will complete in Scotland in September.
